Katherine Hiers

Katherine Tipton Hiers, 39, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010. The Ohio native had lived in Germany moving to Glennville in 1978. She was a 1988 graduate of Pinewood Christian Academy after graduation she moved to Florida where she lived until 3 years ago. She moved back to Glennville and was employed with Southern Medical Group and currently employed with Target Distribution Center. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and attended Corner Stone Bible Church.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harold Lee Tipton

She is survived by, Husband, Lonnie "Lucky" Hiers of Glennville
Children, Brandon Lee Keeler and Wife Lizmary

Mother, Eva Tipton of Glennville
Paternal Grandmother, Opal Simon of Toledo, Ohio
Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews of Toledo, Ohio and Oldenburg, Germany
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 24, 2010 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
