Kathryn G. Robertson, 92, died Tuesday September 18, 2012 at Cedar Plantation in Metter; under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. The Waynesboro, Georgia native lived in Metter for the last 42 years. Being the wife of a Methodist Minister she also lived in the following Georgia Cities: Millen, Newington, Bloomingdale, Oglethorpe, Brooklet, Columbus and Leslie; She also had resided in Abbeville, South Carolina at one time. Having obtained her Masters Degree in Education from Georgia Southern University, she taught middle school history in Candler County for many years, which she loved to do. She was a member of Metter United Methodist Church, and was involved with the United Methodist Women. She loved music especially Christmas, and Big Band. She was predeceased by her Husband Jody Robertson, Sr., Daughter Julie Robertson, one brother and one sister.

She is survived by the following: Sons Jody (Ann) Robertson of Metter, Ga and Frank (HenriAnn) Robertson of Columbia, South Carolina. Grandchildren Shane (Kelli) Robertson, Robbie (Laura) Robertson, and Katie (Chris) Davis. Four Step Grandchildren, and eight Great Grandchildren. Sister-In-Laws: Christine Gray of Waynesboro, Ga, and Harriett Hentz of Panama City, Fl and special Niece Julia Gray Havron of McDonough, Ga.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00pm Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Kennedy Morgan Brannen Funeral Homes, Metter Chapel.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday September 21, 2012 at 11:00am at the Metter United Methodist Church, with Rev. Creed Hinshaw and Rev. Whit Byram officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Active Pallbearers: James Jones, Kelton Cook, Felix Johnston, Tom Williams, Frank Franklin, and Dan Henderson.

Honorary Pallbearers: The Adult Sunday School Class at Metter United Methodist Church, and the Staff of Cedar Plantation.

Burial will be at the Lake Church Cemetery in Metter.
