Kenneth Carl Cox 45, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born in Savannah, January 31, 1966 to Willa and J. Carl Cox, Jr., living in Richmond Hill for many years. He was a graduate of Savannah Christian Preparatory School. He taught at Glennville Christian Academy and coached the Baseball Team and the Girls Basketball Team. He also coached the Appling Christian Academy Girls J.V. Basketball Team. He served as Interim Pastor at several churches in this area and was currently pastor at the Ohoophee Baptist Church near Lyons. He was employed with Thompson's Hardwood in Hazlehurst. As an avid gardener, he loved to see things grow in his yard and garden.

Brandon and Victoria Cox both of Glennville, GA
Parents, Willa & J.Carl Cox, Jr. of Richmond Hill, GA
Sister, Kathie Burnsed of Richmond Hill, GA
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, March 25, 2011 at Watermelon Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Miller and Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
