Kenneth "Doc" Holliday, 78, died Monday, August 16, 2010, at Candler Hospital in Savannah. The Oklahoma native moved to this area in 1970 and had lived in the Glennville and Baxley areas. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, a musician that could play many interments. He was a U.S. Army Combat Veteran of the Vietnam War retiring after 22 years of service with the Military. He was a member of the Glennville VFW Post #8379 and a member of Covenant Church in Baxley.

Sisters:Teena Todd of Velma, OK, Pat Keehn of Albin, OK
17 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren and numerous other relatives also survive.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 6 - 8 pm at Baxley Church of God in Baxley, additional Visitation, Wednesday, August 18, 2010, beginning at 6:00 pm, at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, August 19, 2010 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Stoney Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors.
