Kenneth J. Kirkland, 62, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019. He was born December 16, 1956 to Junior and Vonceil Beasley Kirkland and lived in Jesup, Swainsboro, Brunswick and Warner Robins. He was a 1974 graduate of Jesup High School, a 1976 graduate of Georgia Southern University and a 1980 graduate of the University of Georgia Pharmacy School. He was a member of the UGA Red Coat Band and would go back and play in the alumni after graduation. He was a pharmacist employed in Swainsboro and Brunswick and retired from the Houston County Medical Center in Warner Robins after many years.

He is survived by, Parents, Junior and Vonceil Kirkland of Glennville, GA

Friend and Companion of 14 years, Judith Foskey of Warner Robins, GA

Uncle, Jimmy A. Beasley of St. Simons, GA

Several cousins and other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Monday, August 5, 2019 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, at the Graveside, Monday at Glennville City Cemetery with Rev. Jim Morrow officiating.

Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville is in charge of the arrangements.
