Lamone Prentice Ray, 68, passed away Thursday, October 03, 2013 at his residence under the care of his family and Spanish Oaks Hospice. He was born in Reidsville, May 29, 1945 to Prentice and Martha Jones Ray and lived in this area all of his life. He was self employed in the construction industry. He liked to fish, drag race, play cards and spend time with his family. He was a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rebecca Ray Bradley; and a brother, Danny O'Neal Ray.

10 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at l:00 p.m., Saturday October 5, 2013 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Kimbrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Ray Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Matthew Kennedy, Kody Crowe, Kevin Crowe, Jamey Shaffer, Jason Bradley, Jeremy Ray.
