Lana Ray Padgett, 66, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Glennville, Georgia on June 22, 1954 to Claude and Mittie Mae Moore Ray and lived her all of her life. Lana was retired civil service at Ft. Stewart after 21 years and was an avid reader. She loved to spend time with her family and was a loving, caring, mother and grandmother. Lana was a member of Stoney Hill Free Will Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her sister, Andrea Stanfield and husband, Edwin Padgett.
She is survived by:
Children, Kenneth Padgett (Teresita) of Dublin, Georgia
Misty Davis (Jerome)
Laura Bacon (Jack) all of Glennville, Georgia
Siblings, Claudia Narcarti
Dale Ray (Diane) all of Glennville, Georgia
Six grandchildren, several special nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 5:00 pm, Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
