Laurie Barnard

Laurie Ann Stanfield Barnard, 58, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023. She was born June 12, 1964 to Perry Theodore and Irene Stanfield and lived in Tattnall County all of her life. Laurie loved to her dogs, to fish, read, watch tv and spend time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sarah Bragg and son, Dewey Lavon Slayton.

She is survived by:

Husband, Mitchell Barnard of Reidsville, Georgia

Sons, Charles Ray Slayton, Jr. of Jesup, Georgia
James Michael Slayton (Jackie) of Glennville, Georgia

Siblings, Martha Cranford of Glennville, Georgia
Jeff Stanfield (Robin) of Glennville, Georgia

Grandchildren, Cody Slayton, Elijah Slayton, Malachi Slayton, Nadine Slayton, Irene Slayton

Great Grandchild, Carleigh Slayton

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 pm, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be private at a later date.
