Leighton A. Dasher, 77, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. He was born July 11, 1937 in Glennville, Georgia to Carl and Dovie Dowdy Dasher and lived in Glennville all of his life. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation Engineers and employed with EMC Engineers for many years. He also retired from the Georgia National Guard after many years of service and was a farmer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a member of Harmony United Methodist Church.

Eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:30 pm, Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Harmony United Methodist Church with Rev. Ramon Hernandez officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 10:00 am to lie in state.
