Lena Eason

Jane Driggers Eason, 70, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Optim Medical Center. She was born January 12, 1949 to Hugh and Vernice Brannen Driggers and lived here all of her life. She retired from civil service at Ft. Stewart after 34 years of service. She enjoyed sewing, working with crafts, working in her yard and taking care of her flowers and animals. She was a loving caring wife, sister and aunt to many. She was a member of Ebenezer Free Will Baptist Church and preceded in death by her parents, sister, Angie Driggers Howard, brothers, Marvis Driggers and Larry Driggers.
She is survived by: Husband, Lenwood Eason of Glennville, Georgia
Sister, Debbie Dutton (Dale) of Glennville, Georgia
Brothers, Jimmy Driggers (Katha) of Glennville, Georgia
Robert Driggers (Janice) of St. Simons Island, Georgia
Jesse J. Driggers (Sherry) of Glennville, Georgia
Special Sister, Dottie Harden of Glennville, Georgia
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00pm, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Ebenezer Free Will Baptist Church .
Funeral services will follow at the Ebenezer Free Will Baptist Church at 2:00 pm, with Dr. Rick Cason officiating. Burial will be at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Driggers, Jr., Adam Howard, Walter Driggers, Jonathan Dutton, Matt Dutton,Jason Driggers, Brent Driggers, Josh Driggers.
