Leranso J. "L.J." Groover, 76 passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. The Long County native had lived in this area all of his life. He was a carpenter in the construction industry and a member of Little Rock Baptist Church.
He is survived by wife, Mary Sue Groover of Glennville
Children, Patsy E. Hodge of Tennessee, Pam R. Dyches of South Carolina, Darlane Groover of Glennville, Ricky Groover and Johnny C. Groover both of Florida, Billy Joe Groover of Mississippi, David Brian Groover of Florida, Leranso J, Goover Jr., of Glennville.
Sisters, Ann Cammack of Jacksonville, Rachael "Winkie" Cammack of Glennville
Brothers, Billy Groover of Glennville, Gene Groover of Savannah, Jim Groover of Claxton
Eleven Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Friday, January 4, 2013 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Brinkley officiating. Burial will be in Little Rock Church Cemetery.
