Lessie Durrence

Lessie Mae Jernigan Durrence, 96, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was born March 24, 1917 in Collins, Georgia to Tom and Hattie Jernigan and lived in the Tattnall County area all of her life. She was a homemaker and a volunteer with the American Red Cross Bloodmobile. She was a member of the Reidsville United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Segal Durrence and son, John Calvin Durrence.

Sister:Grace Wright of North Augusta, SC
Grandchildren:Mila (Keith) Spaulding of Rock Hill, Virginia
Kyle (Sonya) Durrence of Reidsville
Great-Grandchildren:Leslie, Christina and Jonathan Spaulding
Bethany, Bailey and Brynn Durrence
Several nieces and nephews also survive
Special Caregivers:Kathleen Smith and Rossie Smith.
Visitation will be from 6:00 �½" 8:00 pm, Friday, August 23, 2013 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Reidsville. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, August 24 at Brannen-Kennedy Reidsville Chapel. Burial will follow in Reidsville City Cemetery.
