Lieselotte Steenken

Lieselotte "Lisa" C. Steenken, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at Evans Memorial Hospital. She was born in Mannheim, Germany May 17, 1934 to Karl Friedrich and Emilie Steifel Bossert. She and her husband moved to Glennville in 1976 she was a very devoted and loving wife who supported her husband while he served his country in the U.S. Military. She was homemaker, a very accomplished cook who loved to bake and cook and take to friends and nabors and compare recipes. She was a loving, mother, grandmother and attended Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers and other relatives.
She is survived by, Husband, Daniel W. Steenken of Glennville
Children, Alfred M. Steenken of Mussey Township, Michigan
James Steenken of Tucson Arizona
Daniel Steeken of McKinney Texas
Sister in law and brother in law, Chris & Tom McHenry of Alabama
5 Grandchildren, nephews Jay & Brian McHenry and other nieces and nephews in Germany
Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Brannnen Kennedy Funeral Home
Memorial Funeral Services will follow at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
