Linda Griffin

Glennville,
Linda Groover Griffin, 64, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at Liberty Regional Medical Center under the care of Georgia Hospice and surrounded by her family. She was born February 14, 1955 to Cecil and Ernestine Wetherington Groover and lived in this area most of her life. Linda was a 1973 graduate of Pinewood Christian Academy. She was employed with University of Georgia Board of Trustees, Page Foundation and Savannah College of Art and Design as major gift director. She had a giving spirit and loved to help people. Linda assisted many organizations in fundraising and charitable events. She was a member of the Glennville First Baptist Church and is preceded in death by, her father.

Children, J.P. Griffin (Leah) of Atlanta, Georgia
Philip Griffin of Glennville, Georgia
Mother, Ernestine W. Groover of Glennville, Georgia
Brothers, Danny Groover of South Carolina
Leslie Groover (Vicky) of Glennville, Georgia
Mike Groover (Marie) of Glennville, Georgia
One Granddaughter, Cayden Lily Griffin, Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins also survive.
Visitation will begin 5:00 pm, Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Glennville First Baptist Church. Memorial Funeral Services will follow at 6:00 pm with Rev. Mike Howard officiating. Burial will be private at a later date.
