Linda Smiley

Linda Dale Kennedy Smiley, 65, died suddenly Thursday at her residence in Jacksonville Florida. The Tattnall County native and graduate of Glennville High School class of 1965 was a loving and caring mother, and wonderful grandmother. She loved her brothers and sisters and enjoyed spending time with her family. Dale is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Carl and Eula Mae Kennedy, sister, Martha Kennedy Purvis, brothers, Clifton, Gene, and Roger Kennedy, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday April 25, 2011 at Harmony United Methodist Church.Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service.
