Lloyd Franklin Davis, Jr.

Lloyd Franklin Davis, Jr., known affectionately as "Buddy," age 81, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024, at Hospice of Savannah. He was born on December 20, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida to Lloyd and Winnie Smith Davis and lived in this area most of his life.

Buddy led a fulfilling life dedicated to his work and passions. He was employed with JC Lewis Ford until his well-deserved retirement, where he garnered numerous awards for his unwavering dedication and exceptional service to the company and his customers.

Outside of work, Buddy found joy in various hobbies and interests such as fishing, gardening, and watching NASCAR events. He was a true car enthusiast, which led to many beloved ownerships of cars and trucks over the years. His enthusiasm for these activities brought light and laughter to those around him.

Buddy was a loving father and grandfather. His memory will forever be cherished by his family members and friends. Those who knew him best will remember his kind heart, and steadfast presence in their lives.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Richard "Dickie" Davis and a grandson, Garrett Stiegman.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 pm, Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, July 1, 2024 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Glennville City Cemetery.
