Lois Duncan

Lois Holland Duncan, 85, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Affinis Hospice. She was born in Glennville on March 25, 1930 to Willie and Rosa Higgs Holland. She moved to Florida in 1955 living there for many years before moving back to Ludowici in 2006. She was a seamstress who enjoyed cooking, crocheting, sewing and decorating for the holidays for her family. She was a charter member of Berea Baptist Church in Palm Harbor, Florida and attended Poplar Head Baptist Church locally.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Duncan.

Children: Laynette Ferguson (Roy) of Palm Bay, Florida
Lacy Duncan (Eloise) of Ludowici, Georgia
Joe Duncan (Diannia) of Ludowici, Georgia
Jerry Duncan (Celeta) of Palm Bay, Florida
Sister: Doris McKinney (David) of Cameron, North Carolina
9 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:30 pm, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 from the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Ray officiating. Burial will be in Glennville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Duncan, Joey Duncan, Tony Duncan, Mark Duncan, Ron Gordon, Jerry Duncan Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be David Gordon, Bobby Duncan, and Wendy Duncan Stoker.
