Lonnie Henry Harrelson

Lonnie Henry Harrelson, 70, passed away on November 6, 2024, at Memorial Health University Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. Born on April 22, 1954, in Baxley, Georgia, to LH and Alberta Anderson Harrelson, Lonnie lived here all of his life. 

Lonnie devoted his life to various roles, including that of a poultry egg farmer, horse trainer and breeder, and cattleman. His work was marked by a deep commitment to his trades, and he was known for his hard work and passion for agriculture.

Beyond his career, Lonnie enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He had a profound love for the outdoors, finding joy in hunting and fishing. Most importantly, he cherished the time spent with his family and adored his grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

Lonnie was a member of Pineview Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Linda Day and brother-in-law, Dale Durrence.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Pineview Church Cemetery.
