Lyndal "Mimi" Adamson Rogers, 90 passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Harbison Brookdale in Columbia, SC. She was born May 9,1926 in Glennville and lived there most of her life. She was a teacher, a school counselor and most significantly a loving, caring mother and grandmother. She was a member of Glennville United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Grace Adamson, her brother, George Adamson and an infant son, Swain Adamson.
She is survived by her children, Gayla (Billy) Johnson of Williamsburg, VA., Jack "Lang" Rogers, Jr of Glennville, GA and Holly (Denis) Vaucher of Lexington, SC. She had 5 grandchildren, April (Jimmy) Garner, Janae (Raj) Sureja, Amber (Andy) Porth, Tobin Johnson, Morganne (Aaron) Weeks and Katie Rogers. She had 9 great-great children. Lyndal McCoy, OliviaGrace McCoy, Mercer Garner, Vivian Sureja, Gabrielle Sureja, Addison Sureja, Rynne Sureja, Elijah Weeks and Anna Weeks. She was devoted to her family and friends.
Family will receive friends and family Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
