Maggie Taylor

September 3, 1922 — January 8, 2011

Metter- Maggie Watson Taylor, 88, died Saturday evening at Azalea Health Care after an
extended illness. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Metter, Georgia for over 60
years and a former member of the Naomi Sunday School Class. Maggie was a great cook,
enjoyed serving others and always had a wonderful smile. Maggie resided at Magnolia
Manor in Richmond Hill for five years before returning to Metter in 2009. She was
predeceased by her parents, Augustus and Adrienne Bazemore Watson, husband James
Taylor, sister Beryl Farmer and grandson Jamie Gaultney. The family would like to
thank Azalea Health Care, Southern Care Hospice and Inez Thomas for the loving care
that they provided for Maggie.

Survivors; Children, Judy (Luther) Todd of Shellman Bluff; Gail (Gordon) Lowe of Metter; Jimmy (Gail) Taylor of Richmond Hill; Brothers, Gus (Carolyn) Watson of
Metter; Buford (Corine) Watson of Farmers Branch, TX; Sister, Laufane (Charles) Wood of Greenville, SC: Grandsons, David Coursey, Dusty Lowe and Justin Taylor
Great grandchildren, Darin, Denton, and Ella Rae Coursey and Makenna Lowe, Sisters-in- Law Margie Sutton and Eloise Cowart both of Metter and several nieces and
nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday January 11, 2011 at Kennedy-
Morgan-Brannen Funeral Homes, Metter Chapel, with burial in the Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday 5-7 p.m. in the chapel. Remembrances may be made to
Southern Care Hospice 2311 East First, Suite B, Vidalia Ga. 30474.
