Marian Lavern Mulling Guin
Daisy/Glennville- Mrs. Marian Lavern Mulling Guin 91, of Glennville died Thursday afternoon at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton. The Frostproof, Florida native lived in Daisy since 1989, until 4 months ago when she moved to the Sutton Place in Glennville. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Claxton. She was a volunteer for Concerted Services, and a member of the Senior Companion Program at Georgia Southern University. She is preceded in death by her husband Horace Guin, son Ralph Gouldsmith, and 2 grandchildren Raymond and Monica Gouldsmith.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Sandra Gouldsmith of Daisy; grandchildren James Gouldsmith of Houston, Texas; Christina Jimenez of Daisy. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Joseph Jimenez, of Claxton; Aleigha Jimenez, of Daisy; Monica Jimenez, of Glennville; Brittney Elizondo, of Claxton; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Hazel Wrenn of Collins.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 22, 2015 5:00-7:00pm at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 23, 2015 2:00pm from the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville, with the Rev. Johnathan Brown officiating.
Interment will be at Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church cemetery in Collins.
Pallbearers: Abraham Elizondo, Mario Esquivel, James Gouldsmith, Jose Jimenez, Joseph Jimenez, Rodney Mulling, Donald Wrenn
