Marie Doyle

Marie Vianna Doyle, 91, died Friday evening surrounded by her loving family under the care of United Hospice. The daughter of Willie and Clara Brinson Doyle was born in Screven County and lived most of her life in Candler County. She was a homemaker and farm wife to her husband of 40 years, Willis Doyle, Sr. and a loving mother to their thirteen children. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Metter, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, cooking and spending time with her large family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters, husband; Willis Doyle, one son, Obert L. Doyle.

Surviving are her children: Robert (Nancy) Doyle, Lila Mae Ward, Henry (Charlene) Doyle, Jack (Dorothy) Doyle, Evelyn (Steve) Sutton, Dorothy (Dennis) Fulmer, Randy (Patricia) Doyle, Annette Doyle Cannon, Willis Doyle, Carolyn Doyle Wiley, Dianne (Kurt) Ellis, Martha Sue Doyle (Tim Boyett). Thirty seven grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a special caregiver and friend Dena Ann Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, 2 PM at Kennedy Morgan Brannen Funeral Homes, Metter Chapel with Douglas Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening 5-8 at the funeral home.
