Marion Conley

Marion M. Conley passed December 4, 2016 after a short illness at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah surrounded by loving friends and family members. Marion was born in Geneva Alabama on March 3, 1942 to Roscoe and Jewell Redmon Murdock. She is preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Edward,. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John L. Conley; a son, Buz Cromer (Amy) Reidsville; two sisters; Dorothy Conroy (John) White, GA; Sandra Harman (Harold) Eau Claire, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Jamie (Timmy) Monroe, Cobbtown; Dustin (Alexandra) Cromer, Richmond Hill; Kristen (Blake) Monroe, Reidsville; Caitlyn (Christian) Anderson, Reidsville; Dawson Cromer, Reidsville; four great grandchildren; Abbigail, Evan, Dawson, and Brynlee Monroe; special daughters Gloria Rowland, Reidsville, and Consuelo Roman, Glennville; a special sister, Marilyn Barker, Forsyth, GA; and Sister-In-Law, Claudette Thomas (Wiley), Rincon GA.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Reidsville Methodist Church in Reidsville GA, Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Marc Foster and Rev. Greg Usery officiating. Interment will be at the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ronnie McCall, Jack Hill, Ronnie Webb, Jack Barker, Mickey Pearce and Kyle Sapp. Honorary Pallbearers: All retired or active law enforcement officers. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to one's favorite charity or the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery fund.
