Mrs. Mary Fordham

Metter- Mrs. Mary Beth Fordham 98, of Metter died Tuesday Morning at Azalea Health and Rehab under the care of her family, and Southern Hospice. The Bulloch County native has lived in Metter for the last 60 years, and was the oldest living member of Metter First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, traveling, knitting, crosswords, cooking, and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Throughout the years she also volunteered with the American Red Cross, and was a long time member of the Metter Hardee's breakfast group prior to its closing. She is predeceased by her Husband Edgar Fordham, parents, 4 brothers and 7 sisters.

She is survived by the following Sons: Wayne (Myra) Fordham of Metter; Jerry (Ann) Fordham of Statesboro, and Stan (Dianne) Fordham of Metter. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren; and caregiver Marsha Lee.

Visitation will be on Friday October 4, 2013 from 5-7PM at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes.

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday October 5, 2013 at 2pm at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel with Rev. Vic Fordham Jr., and Rev. Waldo Woodcock officiating.

Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro.

Pallbearers will be the Great-Grandsons.
