Mary Sue Griffin Pierce, 71 passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Glenvue Nursing Home in Glennville after an extended illness. She was born in Glennville May 2, 1939 to Bernie S. and Ida Deal Griffin. She lived in Savannah for many years moving back to Glennville in 1977. She retired from Cary Hilliard's Restaurant in Savannah as a manager and was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her Parents and husband, Arthur Pierce Jr.

She is survived by, Sons, Michael (Patty) Pierce of Richmond Hill.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Monday, September 27, 2010 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Savannah.
