Mary Purcell

Mary A. Dixon Purcell, 85, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at Glenvue Health and Rehab surrounded by her family and under the care of Bethany Hospice. Mary was born January 22, 1935 in Jesup, GA to Emory and Bertie Thompson Dixon and lived in Glennville most of her life. She was a homemaker, loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Glennville First Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leeroy Purcell and grandson, Justin Keith McCloud.

She is survived by;

Children: Glenn and Sonya Purcell

Gloria and Danny Dubberly, all of Glennville, GA

Grandchildren: Brandon Purcell, Reed Purcell, Sydney Purcell, Casey Dubberly Giddens (Eric), Bruce Daniel Dubberly IV.

Great-grandchildren:  Ava Giddens , Quinn Giddens and Grant Giddens

Sister in Law: Merriam Purcell of Glennville, GA

Longtime Friend: Linda Brannen

Caregivers: Debra Barfield, Janet Stanfield, Theresa Mobley, Connie Bowen and Abigail Bowen

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 16, 2020 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 16, 2020, 12:00 noon, at the chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
