Mary Michelle Stubbs, 55, entered her Heavenly home on October 19, 2023, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born on June 11, 1968, in Glennville, Georgia to Douglas MacArthur Stubbs and Mary Lois Harper Knight, and she spent her entire life there.
Michelle dedicated her career to Ogeechee Technical College, where she worked for an impressive 30 years before her well-deserved retirement as Registrar in 2021. Her commitment to her work and the students she helped guide through their educational journey left an indelible mark on the countless lives she touched.
Michelle had many interests and hobbies that brought joy to her everyday life. She had an incredible singing voice, participating in the church choir and singing specials. Additionally, Michelle found great pleasure in reading books, playing trivia games and spending time at the beach. She was also a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church.
Family meant everything to Michelle. She cherished each moment spent with loved ones, whether it was gathering around the dinner table sharing laughter or sharing memorable times together.
