Maxine Barrow

Maxine Strickland Barrow, 86, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Glenvue Health & Rehab. She was born in Glennville on July 28, 1927 to Aquilla and Alice Geiger Strickland and lived in Glennville until 1965 before moving to Lakeland, Florida. She lived in Florida for many years until returning to Glennville in 2007. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest H. Barrow; daughters, Ernestine Dunk and Wanda McCoy.
She is survived by,
Children: Edsil (Joanne) Barrow of Springfield, Georgia
Reggie Barrow of Glennville, Georgia
Sister: Wiladean Legg of Keystone Heights, Florida
8 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, March 17, 2014 at Oakhill Cemetery in Lakeland, Florida with Bro. Heath Barrow officiating.
