Melinda Grooms Hollis, 55, passed away Tuesday, January 07, 2014 at her residence under the care of her family and Gentiva Hospice. The Tattnall County native had lived here most of her life. She was a homemaker, loved to fish, cook and take care of her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

Several Grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm, at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Weisel officiating. Burial will be in Loves Chapel Church Cemetery.
