Michael Gregory Hollis

Michael Gregory Hollis, 65, known affectionately as Mike, passed away on December 22, 2023 at his residence. Born on April 20, 1958 in Savannah, Georgia, to Robert and Helen Brant Hollis and lived here most of his life.

He was a self-employed carpenter, dedicating his life to his craft and leaving behind a legacy of exceptional workmanship and passion for creating beautiful wooden structures.

As a carpenter, Mike exhibited an unwavering commitment to his craft. His hands possessed an innate ability to transform raw materials into structures and pieces of art. With every swing of the hammer and stroke of the saw, he poured his heart and soul into each project he undertook.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mike also cherished spending time outdoors. Known for his down-to-earth demeanor and warm smile, Mike embraced the simplicity of life.

He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by:

Children: Carrie Osborne of Springfield, GA and Hillarie Girad of Richmond Hill, GA

Siblings, Allen Hollis (Denise) , David Hollis ,Sherrie Thompson (Craig) all of Glennville, Georgia

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
