Mr. Martin Hinojosa-Garza, 55, of Reidsville, passed away, Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Community Hospice House in Vidalia surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on November 8, 1963 to Mr. Armando Hinojosa and Mrs. Concepcion Hinojosa Garza in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico. He worked with Environmental Wood Products as a carpenter for many years. He was of the Christian faith and attended Piedra Viva in Glennville, GA. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing the drums, reading his bible, watching old black and white movies, and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Concepcion Hinojosa Garza and brothers, Rene Hinojosa, Rolando Hinojosa and Nicholas Hinojosa.
He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Erika Flor Hinojosa of Reidsville; son, Edgar Joshua Hinojosa of Claxton; brothers, Hector Garza of Mexico, Ruben Hinojosa (Celestina) of Metter, Ricardo Hinojosa (Maria) of Texas, Fransico Hinojosa of Reidsville, Adrian Hinojosa (Maria) of Reidsville and Armando Hinojosa, Jr. (Darlene) of Collins; sisters, Nereida Quiroz of Reidsville, Norma Andrade (Jose) of Reidsville and Veronica Contreras (Javier) of Reidsville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 17, 2019 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes with Reverends Gumaro Castillo and Roman Rodriguez. Burial will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Salomon Medina, Juan Carlos Perez, Jorge Joya, Brett Warren, William Harden and Matt Padgett.
Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes, Metter Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

El es sobrevivido por su esposa de 7 anos, Erika Flor Hinojosa de Reidsville; hijo, Edgar Joshua Hinojosa de Claxton; hermanos, Hector Garza de Mexico, Ruben Hinojosa (Celestina) de Metter, Ricardo Hinojosa (Maria) de Texas, Fransico Hinojosa de Reidsville, Adrian Hinojosa (Maria) de Reidsville y Armando Hinojosa, Jr. (Darlene) de Collins; hermanas, Nereida Quiroz de Reidsville, Norma Andrade (Jose) de Reidsville y Veronica Contreras (Javier) de Reidsville. Tambien lo sobreviven varios sobrinos y sobrinas.
La familia recibira amistades el Jueves 17 de Octubre de las 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en La Capilla de Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes. Servicios funebres seran el Viernes 18 de Octubre del 2019 a la 1:00 p.m. en La Capilla de Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes con el Reverendo Gumaro Castillo y Roman Rodriguez oficiando. Sepulcro seguira en el Panteon De La Ciudad De Reidsville.
