Mr. Rondell Wood

Mr. Rondell K. Wood, 64, of Metter and formerly of Edmonton, KY, passed away, Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Wood was born on May 20, 1955 to Col. Rondell and Joyce Adolph Wood in Louisville, KY. He lived in Edmonton for many years moving to Metter 12 years ago to be closer to his family. He was a printing press operator and in his spare time he enjoyed riding motorcycles, gardening, building things, anything that made his cerebral palsy less evident, enjoyed eating, was a avid gun and knife collector, loved history, exploring caves, hiking and being outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Daughter, Jessica Spears (Ben) of Metter

Sister, Lesile Wood Graham (Jimmy) of Louisville, KY

Grandchildren, Harley and Hagan Mae Spears of Metter

Niece, Andrea Graham of Louisville, KY

Special family, Jean Davidson, Amber Willis, Frankie Willis and their families

The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes with Rev. Allen Cason officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Louisville, KY. Due to COVID-19 all social distancing requirements of six feet between others will be enforced at the funeral home.
