Mrs. Genevieve Mann

Mrs. Genevieve Carol Mann, 77, of Metter, passed away, Thursday, January 23, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.

Mrs. Mann was born on January 8, 1943 to Elmer Blackburn and Mrs. Genevieve Morrison Blackburn in South Williamson, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and in her spare time she enjoyed sewing, being with her cats and being outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chris Mann, Jr.; sister, Betty Waughn and brother, Jimmy Lee Blackburn.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Mann of Metter and Christy Steele of Suwanee, GA. 2 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes with Rev. Ben Gay officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
