Nadine Blanton Waters, 84, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Glenvue Health and Rehab surrounded by her family and under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice. She was born in Glennville, July 23, 1933 to David Jasper Blanton and Eva Mae Stanfield Blanton and lived here all of her life. She was owner and operator of Gooseneck Nursery and Greenhouses, a homemaker, loving caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church and preceded in death by her husband, Quinton Waters, sister, Mildred Rayborn, brothers, Jody Blanton and Ben Blanton.
She is survived by, Son, David Waters and wife, Judy of Claxton, GA
Brother, Richard Blanton and wife, Mary Ann of Glennville, GA
Sisters- in-law, Judy Blanton and Betty Addis of Glennville, GA
Virginia Blanton of Jesup, GA
Two Grandchildren, Brandice (Jason) Smith and Haley (Stephen) McDonald, Four Great Grandchildren, Jason Smith, Jr., Hunter Smith, Logan McDonald, Savanna Smith, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm, at the chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Ramon Hernandez officiating. Burial will be at Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery.
