Nancy Deloach

Nancy Ola Blocker DeLoach, 97, peacefully joined her heavenly father, Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation under the compassionate care of the Glenvue staff and Spanish Oaks Hospice. She was born in Glennville, Georgia April 5, 1918 to William Clanton and Sinie Waters Blocker and lived in Glennville in the Midway community most of her life. She was a graduate of the Class of 1937 of Glennville High School. On August 1, 1937 Ola spoke her wedding vows to Marcus Rudolph DeLoach with their hearts combined as one, they sacrificially served one another in love for 57 ½ years, until Marcus's death in 1995. Ola and Marcus were parents to a son and a set of twins, a boy and a girl. Their newborn's lives were very brief, but Ola's and Marcus's hearts held a lifetime of overflowing love for all children everywhere. She was a lifelong member of Harmony United Methodist Church and a faithful member of the Anchor Sunday School Class and was truly glad to be a part of the Family of God. She loved her community and gathered monthly to share knowledge and ideas in the art of homemaking with the ladies of the Midway Home Demonstration Club. Ola always enjoyed gathering with family throughout the years, delighted to see the next generations. She was greatly loved and will greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother James Olan Blocker, brothers, Monroe and Earl Blocker, sisters, Eula Blocker DeLoach, Ida Pearl Blocker Todd and Edna Blocker Lanier

Sisters, Medra Blocker Purvis of Savannah, GA
Emma Jean Blocker Deas of Springfield, GA
Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Harmony United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 2:30 pm, at Harmony United Methodist Church with Rev. Ramon Hernandez and Rev.Terry DeLoach officiating. Burial will be in the Harmony Church Cemetery.
