Oliver Waters

Oliver Earl Waters, 92 passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Glenvue Health and Rehab after an extended illness. The Tattnall County native and lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for many years moving back to Glennville in 2005. He worked at Liptsitz's Department store in Glennville for several years before moving to Ft. Lauderdale in 1936. He employed as a bookkeeper at Gate City Sash and Door Company in Ft. Lauderdale and retired from Mainet Electric Company after 25 years of service. He attended Glennville First Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewitt Talmadge and Bessie Lee Smiley Waters, Sisters, June Carolyn Waters Davis, Elizabeth Betty Waters Brown, Mary Dell Waters.
He is survived by, Nephews, Steve Davis of Glennville, Georgia
Robert Davis of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Several other nieces and nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM, Friday, May 24, 2013 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM, Friday, at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.
