Ora Bell Lynn Blocker, 88, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at Sutton Place Personal Care Home where she has resided for the last ten years. The Tattnall County native had lived in Glennville all of her life. She was retired from the Glennville Hatchery after 30 years of service. She and her husband owned and operated Blocker's Produce Stand. She was an avid gardener who loved to work in her rose garden, loved to cook and care for her grandchildren. She was also famous for her seven layer chocolate cake. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Blocker.
She is survived by, Daughter and son in law, Linda and Gene Bassett of Kingland, GA.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery. She will be taken to the church to lie in state at 12:00 noon.
