Peggy Talbot, age 78, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was born in South Carolina on June 22, 1945, to David and Dorothy Wood Hair.
Peggy led a fulfilling life filled with diverse roles. She and her husband owned and operated Talbot's Boot Store for many years and T&T Wholesale Flowers for over 25 years where she showcased her dedication and work ethic. In addition to her professional endeavors, Peggy embraced the role of a homemaker with grace and warmth.
One of Peggy's greatest joys in life was spending time with her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment with them. Peggy had a passion for singing that brought light to those around her. Her love for her frenchie bulldogs and shopping added vibrancy to her days.
Peggy was an active member of Reidsville Church of God and is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Richard "Dick" Talbot.

Seven Great Grandchildren, Two Great-Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Reidsville Church of God. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, June 24, 2024 at Reidsville Church of God with Rev. William Prince and Rev. Jason Smith officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers remembrance may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Davita Dialysis, Vidalia.
