Revis Owen DeLoach, 63, passed away at his residence on March 15, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on January 2, 1962, in Savannah, Georgia to Annie Moody and James Loren DeLoach, Jr and lived in this area most of his life.
Owen was a proud US Army Veteran and retired from Rayonier in Jesup, Georgia.
Owen's interests were as diverse as they were numerous. He had a profound love for chess, photography and was an avid reader. His passion for travel took him to numerous National Parks, where he reveled in nature's beauty.
He was a lifelong member of Pigott Branch Missionary Baptist Church and loved attending Anderson Street Baptist Church, Owen attended services regularly and embraced his faith as a fundamental part of his life.
Owen is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Ockerman.
He is survived by, his siblings, Rita Young of Ludowici, Georgia, Angela Smith (Doug) of Newnan, Georgia, Karen Grant of New Market, Alabama, James L. DeLoach III (Janice) of Ludowici, Georgia, Roy DeLoach of New Market, Alabama. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, March 21, 2025, at Pigott Branch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
