Rickey Salter

Metter- Rickey Howard Salter, 54 died early Tuesday morning December 25, 2012 at his residence. The Candler County native has lived in Metter all of his life. He worked for many years as a mechaninc for Jimmy Franklin Chevrolet in Metter. He enjoyed many activities especially driving dirt track race cars. He is precceded in death by his Father Howard Salter.

Surviving are Wife Jean Salter of Metter, Mother Colleen Collins of Metter, Son Jeremy (Wendy) Salter of Metter, Daughters Laci (David) Wilson of Reidsville, and Chirsty (Gene) Odom of Metter. Brothers David (Sissy) Salter of Metter; Kenny (Mitzi) Salter of Metter; Ronnie (Kim) Salter of Statesboro, and Donnie (Candace) Salter of Metter. Also surviving are 7 Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday December 26, 2012 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday December 27, 2012 at 2:00pm at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes.

Burial will follow at the Lake Church Cemetery in Metter.

Pallbearers: Kenny Salter, Donnie Salter, Ronnie Salter, Logan Salter, Benjie Donaldson, and Tony Ramierez
