Ricky Patterson Banks

Ricky Patterson Banks, 67, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 at his residence. Born on July 24, 1956, in Reidsville, Georgia to L.B. Patterson and Lillen Griffin Banks, Ricky resided in Glennville all of his life.

Ricky's adventurous spirit led him to proudly serve as a US Navy Veteran during the Vietnam era. His dedication to his country exemplified his loyalty and commitment to protecting others. Ricky's military service is a testament to his selflessness and bravery. 

He was a truck driver for Norris Driggers trucking until his health declined.

Ricky lived a full life filled with various interests and hobbies. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and cars. Whether it was spending time by the river or exploring nature's beauty, Ricky found solace in immersing himself in the great outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Ricky is survived by his brother Kenneth Patterson, sister, Pam Griner both of Glennville, Georgia and a nephew, Matthew Keppley of West Hollywood, California. 

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Glennville City Cemetery.
