Rita Durrence Sikes

Rita Durrence Sikes, 55, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at her residence. She was born May 15, 1968 to Merriell Durrence and Elizabeth Anderson Durrence and lived in this area all of her life.  Rita was a 1986 Graduate of Pinewood Christian Academy and obtained her Cosmetology License in 1988.  She enjoyed cooking for her family, working in her flower garden, crafting and singing.  She is a member of Harmony Church and is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Sikes, Son, Ben Sikes, mother, Elizabeth Anderson Durrence.

She is survived by,

Children, Nicky Sikes (Daniel) of Glennville, Georgia,
               Troy Sikes of Glennville, Georgia

Parents, Merriell and Danna Durrence of Glennville. Georgia

Siblings, Kim D. Anderson (Keith) of Glennville, Georgia
              Herschel Durrence (Jayla) of Glennville, Georgia

Companion, Steve Knight of Glennville, Georgia

Grandchildren, Lawson Knight, Will Sikes, Hudson and Haven Sikes, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Monday, August 14, 2023 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am, Monday in the Chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will be in Harmony Church Cemetery.
