Robert Melvin Cook, 88, passed away at his residence in Glennville on Monday, November 22, 2010. He was born in Baldwyn, Mississippi on March 13, 1922 to John Henderson Cook and Mattie Lou Blasingame Cook. He was a World War II Army Veteran and retired from FMC Corporation in Lakeland, Florida as a welder. He was an ordained minister and a member of Ludowici Church of God.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Julia Victoria Cook; and daughter, Stella Kirk Carpenter.

20 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
