Pulaski Robert Chester Harper, 67, died Tuesday morning at his residence under the loving care of Hospice Advantage. A long time native of Candler County, he was of Baptist faith and a general contractor.
He was predeceased by his parents and one daughter Kathleen Harper.
Survivors: wife of 28 years Deborah Ann Howell Harper, three sons, Steven (Nicole) Meredith of Hinesville, Jimmy (Judy) Meredith of Statesboro, Jamie Meredith of Jesup. Daughters, Missy (Jody) Harville of Brookelt, Stacy (Brad) Vincent of Register. Brother, Lamar Harper of Ft. Wire, Florida, brother-in-law Del Howell of Statesboro. Special niece, Ami Howell of Statesboro, 32 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, special friend of the family Nan Williams.
The family would like to give special thanks to care givers Tammy Wilson and Kim Williams of Hospice Advantage.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 1:00 pm in the chapel with Rev. Johnny Beasley officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6-8 at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
