Ruth Wilkins

Ruth Johnson Wilkins, 73, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at her residence under the care of her family and Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was born January 24, 1938 in Pearson, Georgia to Averette & Aleph Deen Johnson. She had lived in Glennville since 1968 and was a homemaker, loved to sew and cook. She was known for her homemade biscuits and handmade quilts. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by, Children, Linda and Andy Wilson

Sister, Louise Cheney of Pearson Georgia
Brother, Dennie Johnson of Waycross
Five Grandchildren, Twelve Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, December 9, 2011 at Glennville Memorial Gardens.
