Shannon Thompson

Mrs. Shannon Ileen (Hogan) Thompson, 40, of Salem, New Jersey, passed away, Thursday, August 29, 2019 at her residence.

She was born on November 23, 1978 to Mr. Francis “Frankie” Hogan and Mrs. Debbie Wallace Hagan in Savannah, Georgia. She lived in McIntosh County for a number of years before moving to New Jersey.

She is survived by her children, Nolan Thompson, Austin Thompson both of Santee, S.C. and Brianna Sweat of Richmond Hill, GA; father and step-mother, Francis “Frankie” and Cathy Hogan of Metter, GA; mother, Debbie Hagan of Santee, S.C.; grandmother and grandfather, Ann and Jack Zeihl of Richmond Hill, GA; brothers, Rusty Brown of McIntosh County, GA and Jason Hadden of Vidalia, GA; sisters, Misty Hagan of Santee, S.C. and Jessica Hubbard of Bloomingdale; grandson, Joshua Thompson Hinson of Santee, S.C.; the father of her daughter, Donnie Peacock of New Jersey. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 2, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes, Metter Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes, Metter Chapel with Rev. Joe Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Lake Cemetery.
