Shawn Harris

Shawn Anthony Harris, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at his home in Hendersonville, TN. Shawn was born in Waycross, GA but grew up in Hilliard, FL. He was an Army Veteran serving in the Afghanistan War. He was an animal lover leaving behind several fur babies at home. He was an avid horror movie genre enthusiast and amateur astronomer. His quick wit and joking nature would always make you laugh.  Most importantly, Shawn had a kind heart, never meeting a stranger and a friend to all that crossed his path. He is preceded in death by his mother, Janice Harris, his father, Jackie “Jack” Kicklighter and his brother, Elton Harris Jr.,

Wife, Donna Harris of Hendersonville, TN

Daughter, Rachel Harris of Jacksonville, FL

Father, Elton Harris of Hilliard, FL

Mother, Kathy Holton of Woodbine, GA

Sister, K’Trina (Tracy) Rapp of Glennville, GA

Brother, Jason Harris of Hilliard, FL

Several nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville, GA. Funeral services will follow at 1pm. Burial will be private at a later date.
