Shelly Arlene (Rigg) Simmons, 52 died Monday September 3, 2012 at Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro. She was a P.O.S.T certified correctional officer for several years, and currently was employed by Paragon Securities, a contractor for the Department of Homeland Security. Her enjoyments in life were her family and riding her Harley. She is predeceased by her parents and one brother.

She is survived by her Husband, Mark Simmons of Swainsboro and Son, William (Rachael) Gallahan of Swainsboro.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy Morgan Brannen Funeral Home.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at the Lake Church Cemetery at 11am Saturday September 8, 2012.
