Shirley Joseph Lynn

Shirley Lynn, 85, passed away on July 9, 2023, at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was born on January 17, 1938, in Reidsville, Georgia, to Benjamin Alexander and Emma Crosby Joseph and lived in this area most of her life.

Shirley's life revolved around her loved ones. As a homemaker, she poured her heart into creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. Shirley had an incredible talent for cooking and would often be found in the kitchen preparing delicious meals for those she cherished. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Gardening also held a special place in Shirley's heart. She had a green thumb and took great joy in tending to her garden.

Shirley was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her loving husband, Brinton Lynn; daughter, Cindy Lynn; son, Timmy Lynn; grandson, Randy Miller and granddaughter, Amanda Lynn.

Shirley is survived by her sisters, Lillian Tootle of Glennville, Georgia and Emma Igou of Rincon Georgia; grandchildren, Tommy Boneschans, Brenton Boneschans and Shea Hancock, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, July 14th, 2023 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services with Rev. Jerry Knight officiating. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.
