Shirley Sapp

Shirley Faye Carter Anderson Sapp, 73 of Metter, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 under the care of Affinis Hospice at Azalea Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born October 6, 1944 to James Otis Carter and Nana Mae Toler Carter in Collins, Tattnall County, Georgia. She was a seamstress and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 11 years, Lewis "Mose" Sapp and her brothers, Earl, J.W. and Wallace Carter.

She is survived by, her sons: Jim Anderson (Anna) and Anthony Anderson (Amanda) of Collins, Georgia; her grandchildren: Miranda Guiterrez (Sergio) of Reidsville, Georgia, Michael Anderson (Racheal) of Daisy, Georgia, Patrick Anderson (Michelle) of May Port News, Virginia, Daniel Anderson (Leah) of Glennville, Georgia, Sandra Bradham of Reidsville, Georgia, Rebecah Mixon of Glennville, Georgia and Matthew Anderson of Collins, Georgia; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; her sister: Mary Rybzcyk (Matt) of Metter, Georgia; her brothers: Mayo Carter of Las Vegas, Nevada, Thomas Eugene Carter of Fort Valley, Georgia and Preston Carter ( Daisy) of Tallahassee, Florida.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Home, Metter Chapel. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Friday, August 10, 2018 at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Home, Metter Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sunlight Cemetery, Cobbtown, Georgia.
